Glamour, Family, and Friendship: A Memorable Prom Send-Off in Silver Spring, MD

Prom night is a milestone worth celebrating, and this Silver Spring send off was nothing short of magical. I had the pleasure of photographing a stunning young woman whose elegance lit up the backyard, dressed in a jaw dropping black sequin gown with statement feathers and bold red hair, she turned the deck into a  runway.

What made this prom send-off truly special was the love and laughter shared between family and her best friend. From joy-filled selfies to supportive hugs, it was clear this was more than just a dress-up occasion—it was a celebration of sisterhood, strength, and stepping into a new chapter.

A Backyard Makeover, Black & Silver Style

I had the joy of helping transform the family deck into a glam photo ready backdrop with a black and silver balloon installation. The backdrop added the perfect pop for portraits while capturing the festive energy of the evening. It served as the ideal stage for the guest of honor to shine, both in solo shots and with the people who matter most.

Double the Celebration: Prom and a Birthday!

This wasn’t just prom night. It was also her birthday! From indoor cake cutting with friends to a quick confetti shower, every detail added an extra layer of sparkle to the evening. And while a fast moving storm rolled through just before the main event, it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. Once the clouds cleared, we began capturing golden hour moments and even Uber send-off.
