For the third installment of our “70s-Inspired Photowalk in Downtown Baltimore” series, we feature the effortlessly captivating Dee — known on Instagram as @dez._xo
Dee’s look was all about poise, movement, and presence — merging vintage cool with modern strength in every frame.
The Baltimore streets, layered with texture and light, became the perfect backdrop for this retro revival, blending urban grit with cinematic style.
With sunlight spilling through the gaps of the overpass, Dee commanded the space with subtle intensity. Her styling — the bold red tones, voluminous curls, and striking silhouette — paid homage to 70s icons while radiating contemporary sophistication.
Every pose felt deliberate yet effortless — the look of someone who owns both the past and the present. Her expressions carried the timeless cool of Diana Ross with the grounded confidence of today’s creative woman.
This session leaned into contrast and rhythm — shifting between natural light and strobe to build a look that felt both polished and raw. The soft gold tones of sunlight wrapped around the metallic reflections of the vintage car, while the flash added clean edges and definition to the scene.
The result: a balanced, modern take on 70s-style portraiture — soulful, crisp, and full of depth.
Dee’s energy brought the series full circle — her calm, graceful presence grounding the dynamic look of the previous sessions. Whether framed in the driver’s seat or mid-turn under the city skyline, her body language told a story of confidence and self-possession.
Her gaze — direct yet contemplative — reminds us that the essence of 70s beauty was about presence, individuality, and attitude.

Part 3 — Retro Street Muse — captures the elegant strength of Dee (@dez._xo) in a series that celebrates individuality, rhythm, and the timeless influence of 70s fashion.
Her ability to blend quiet power with radiant presence made this session both cinematic and deeply personal — a perfect continuation of this creative journey through Baltimore’s streets with the Peculiar Collective.
Stay tuned for Part 4, where we close this series with another striking perspective on style, heritage, and modern femininity.
