Georgetown Military Wedding

Dress blues, gorgeous bride, DC monuments - what's not to love?  It was such a pleasure to capture Taylor and Shon's Georgetown destination wedding.  Their wedding was the perfect blend of Marine pride, elegance and fun.  Taylor was such a laid back bride and was mostly concerned about getting photos at the monuments and that their guests had an amazing time.  

Shon bought Taylor a lovely strand of pearls as a wedding day present and the two exchanged love letters before their first look.

Taylor's bridal party kept her laughing while prepping for the big day.  And who doesn't love a champagne toast or two before makeup?

All eyes were definitely on these two when went to the World War II memorial for photos.

Taylor and Shon held their blue and gold inspired ceremony and reception at the Westin in Georgetown. 

It was such an honor to photograph this amazing military couple.  We wish them every happiness as they start their lives together.
